John and I went to a pet store this weekend. Just to look I swear :D

My new Women For Women windows are up at kate! We have a partnership with them called Hand In Hand. We employ the women to make things and then we sell them. When you buy the product you have the option of sponsoring a woman and we waive the sign up fee if you spend so much money. You can find out more information at katespade.com

Happy fall!

Tuesday, September 8, 2009

We just opened a new kate shop in St. Louis. Here is the window I did for it.

"She is quick and curious and playful and strong"
is our brand statement. Gold 3d letters with aqua sides...I love it.

update: Dana and I got the dresses!

Wednesday, August 19, 2009

Dana and I worked late tonight...again. We were put on pause when we saw a box of sample sale dresses, and we played dress up. We both fell in love with the same dress, but lucky for us there are two! We put them on and took a picture and sent it to our PR director who is in charge of the dresses with a sign. We're hoping these faces will make her feel generous :D
will work for dresses

OH! something quick... I was googling around for kate spade windows, and a window that I did for the grand opening of our Ala Moana store in Hawaii, was blogged about! It is kinda hard to tell in these pictures but there is a yellow dotted line with an airplane following it from New York to Hawaii. It was a fun project. I'm working on our opening for Korea right now. And I just did a new window for St. Louis. That gets installed in the beginning of next month, I'll try to get some pictures of it and show you.

I believe in rewarding yourself for hard work...probably a little too much. I treated myself to a pair of kate spade bronze metallic croc print heels. They came in the mail today. They are still available online in silver here! But please borrow my discount.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at that shine!! I blame this love for gold on Granny and Gemma. They taught me from the beginning...it's their fault, sorry mom and dad.

Here is the little monster barking at me from behind the jungle for not giving her a treat. (look how mini my kitchen is!)

This little guy is Oliver. I think I've posted a picture of him before, but he is way bigger now. A girl at work rescued him from a shelter. He is 12 weeks. She brings him to work when she doesn't have meetings all day or when we have half days and I always steal him for a little bit.

I fell in love (sorry john) with this ring at an antique store down the street from work. I was trying it on in the store and it would not come off , they lady made me buy it!! I swear. It is still currently stuck on my finger :D

Sometimes when John and I video chat we pretend we are Asian. I love him (babe, don't get mad that I just showed my entire family this picture) hahahah

Our clothing debut has launched and I couldn't be more happier with the windows. I am soo so proud of them. We had professional photos taken of our 5th ave store.

The windows have curtains that were down for a week hiding the new clothing collection. "Drum Roll Please" is written across the windows in bold red vinyl. Today the curtains went up to reveal the new line saying "TA-DA! Our debut clothing collection has arrived" When I was setting the windows up for our international store we ran into a problem...in Japanese or Korean "Ta-da" means for free! Haha so we had to change the word to "HORAY!"

This is at our Broome Street location in Soho last week. I never found out the details but there is a joke going around the office that Tory Burch threw a brick threw our window or someone was just so excited to see the clothing collection they could not wait for the debut.
