we had our quarterly business review yesterday at a bar on the hudson river. the weather was amazing and it was open bar + lots of food. This is the creative team (minus our vp, creative director, and marketing director). We are graphic design, marketing, pr, copy, web design, and visual design all in one. The biggest department in the company.

SUMMER!

Since John moved up and in we go on lots of dates and he cooks for me and I love it.

Dani is very pregnant! She is due in a little over a month. I am going to go visit her and the baby girl in October and I am so excited. Right now she is planning on naming her Ava.

Sara and I like going to target and looking at the baby clothes.

Forth of July weekend was h-o-t-t. John and I went on a sunset sail on the hudson river. It was so nice to see the city from a boat! and the weather was amazing.

John and I saw Interpol (john's favorite band) at milk studios one night. We're going to see them in November.

 I went to florida for a little weekend getaway. It was a nice trip and had a lot of mom + dad + katie time. We went to the flagler museum one day, and dad made my favorite fish for my last dinner.

When I landed there was a big thunderstorm. We had to sit on the runway for an hour, but I enjoy watching the lightning so I was okay.

Work has been crazzzzy and so fun. We're doing big things, but I can't tell you about any of them. I can show you some funny videos of us. I got the new iphone so now I'm able to take videos which I'm very excited about.

Sometimes we get antsy and just need to move around. Sarah, our copy writer, wanted to work out.

A couple of us went to the Ace Hotel to celebrate our 10,000th follower on twitter. We also took some fun photobooth pictures.

The July window is up, and look at the pretty typography. I love it.

House Beautiful had a contest of best designed kitchen. The winner used our new china in his design and a bunch of us from kate went to the party. Below is Dana (designer) and Katie (accessories director)

secret project

Three girls from work and I are starting  a side project. We had the kick off last meeting last night at the Carlyle Hotel bar - Bemelmans. It was the perfect place to start, and I'm sure we'll be back there for more meetings (and cocktails). We are so excited about our project and I can't wait to tell you what it is.

John moved in this weekend! It still doesn't feel like he really lives here yet. He added some of his personal touches with some photographs and boy things. More will come later - like his Playstaion 3 (we can stream netflix instant play on the tv now!)!!
