I was so busy at work last week. Early mornings, late nights. We are in our first fashion week in Hong Kong. I got to design all of the pieces for that from the invite to the runway back drop. Also we are launching in Korea! I designed two invitations, one for a press party, and one for a ...party hah. The party is at a gallery down the street so I am curating a gallery show of kate spade images and designs. Its fun, but a lot of work.

I went to Conneticut this week again to visit with friends. We went on the boat and had a nice relaxing day. Scott brought his brother's dog. His name is Truman and he is close to 40lbs! He is giant. But so cute.

Sara, Laura and I were on the westside highway for the 4th of July.

I went to visit Dani this weekend in Baltimore. I missed her, and it was like old times. We went to city cafe for brunch and it was deeeelicious. followed by mimosas on her roof with all of our favorite magazines. These are pictures of her apt. She is a giant studio apt. She just moved in and is trying to figure out how to section the space. And Aiden is still a fat cat, but I did miss him. I got my hair cut! It needed a trim. Aunt Kathy and Aunt Melanie and I went to woodberry kitchen for dinner. We had a-mazing desserts!! Malt icecream topped with peanuts and chocolate syrup, and marshmellow and then a blueberry, strawberry, and raspberry with goat cheesecake. The last photo is what caused me to be so delayed yesterday. It took forever and a day to get home.

I am going to Baltimore tomorrow! I am so excited to see Dani and family!! I never thought I would be returning so soon, but since Dani moved back, and she won't come to me, I will go to her.

The weather has been so nice in New York. It is still cool in the mornings and in the evenings. I have been putting off buying an ac unit, but I know the time is coming very soon. I will be going home to florida soon also! 2 weeks today...I am so excited. This time I told mom and dad instead of a surprise.

This is a tote bag I am working on for Women 4 Women (shhhhh...these don't come out till next year). There will be a line of bags that have meanings to them...like little idioms. This is one of mine "be bold be bright" and it will be a bright blue/teal canvas bag, with yellow leather hands with orange fabric sewn on with a red thread. This is just a mock up to see if scale is right, which I think is dead on. I am excited. We sent out templates today to get samples to see how they will look.

And this is my friend gina at work. She was one of the girls hula hooping with me in previous pictures. We matched today. I was the 'day' outfit and she was the 'night' outfit.

It has taken me over an hour to write this. Work is so crazy. Sometimes there are so many things happening at once I feel like my eyes are going to pop out of my head. And then the storm passes and everything/one is calm again. Time to get back to work. I am working on wedding invitations and stationary from next spring!

Happy Thursday! Sara's family has been here all week, and they have been such a huge help with getting the apartment together. It finally feels like we've moved in. I have one box to unpack, but really I know I should just throw it away :D

Sara's mom has decorated a lot. New pillows, and rugs and new lighting. Sara's dad hung a bunch of pictures and mirrors. And her brother replaced our shower head with a nice one.

The weather has been so nice, and then so bad. It will rain really hard for an hour, then we'll have sun, and then it will rain again.

I am getting ready to go out to dinner with Sara and her mom. We are going to Prime Meats, in Brooklyn. Its the sister restaurant to the one that sara works at, Frankies. I got off work today at 2 and came home and took a very long nap, so I am wide awake and very hungry right now.

I just wanted to post some pictures of the apt. and the progress. I would show you my room but I'm not done with it yet. Maybe tomorrow.

Kenny works for a famous photographer (Jonathan Mannion) (pictured above with us) and he had a gallery show last night. He photographs famous celebrities, mainly rappers. It was a good show, a nice turn out. Lots of Kenny's friends came, they played good music, and it was open bar :D Sara (roommate/bff) and Sierra and I went to a light quick dinner before hand and then went over. It was a lovely Wednesday night and I am very tired this morning.

Sara baked cupcakes last night. They were mini and delicious, but not as good as Dani's.



Dana was shooting the holiday look book yesterday. I can't believe this hat is from kate spade. It is soooo bad. We were playing dressup. Dana is a mica grad, and she sits behind me. That is my space behind us.

I've been meaning to post these. My first week on the job we gave our 5th ave. store a make over. We had models lined up to hula hoop at the event opening to attract people into the store. They canceled that morning, so Nora and I were the next in line. We hula hooped in 4 in heels and dresses for 2 hours on 5th avenue. It was fun and a great ab work out.

The two women with the babies are my bosses. The red head is Theresa and that is her son Charlie. He is 10 months? The brunette is Yael, and that is her son Ky, he is a 1 year and a half. Yael is the one who called me to tell me she wanted to hire me when I was with mom. The girl next to me in the first photo is Gina, she is MICA 06' and she is in production.

The apt is coming along! This is our living room and the kitchen. And I finally got a new dresser for my room.

I dropped my xacto blade on my foot yesterday at work. I measured the width of the cut and then compared it to the blade.

When I bend over oh so slight a sharp pain shoots up my leg and it hurts so badly.

Blood shot out like in the movies. It got on the carpet and on my shoes. I got it out of the carpet with TIDE to go stick. It worked like a charm. Not so much on my shoes though =(
