our "we have made so much money" dance

SPRING!

There are a ton of things that I've wanted to post recently, but the program on my phone always crashes and I never have time to on the computer. But I do now. So here we go...

DANI
Dani came to NYC for a couple days before she moved back to ohio. It was so nice to have her here. We had a lot of fun - minus me being deathly ill. On saturday Dani, Sara (my roommate), Alyse (a close friend from MICA) and I went to Enid's for brunch in Greenpoint (brooklyn). We had amazing weather. After brunch we walked over to the park and people watched for a while.
Dani had a virgin bloody mary BECAUSE SHE IS GOING TO HAVE A BABY!! We're very excited. I say that like I'm the father hahah. We find out on 4/23 what she is going to have. I hope it's a girl.

Dani and Alyse with her crazy lady gaga shoes

On Dani's last night here she made me soup because I was so sick. We watched Gossip Girl and of course finished the night with half baked chocolate chip cookies. It felt like old times - only we drank flavored soda instead of a cocktail.

SPRING
These were our spring windows. The pinwheels were attached to the outside of the windows so people could take them. The pinwheels had a line of copy that said "from your friends at kate spade new york, live colorfully". They were seen all over the city, it was such a fun marketing campaign.
On the first day of spring a bunch of us went to the Today Show at 6:00am to try and get on the show with our pinwheels. This was the sunrise.

Noura and Gina asking the secuirty gaurds if it was okay to pass our our pinwheels to the crowd.

But the pinwheel sticks were considered weapons, so they wouldn't let us in to pass them out.... but we did it anyway. And it was awesome.
And then we got yelled at. This is my boss, Theresa, trying to get the officer to get excited about the first day of spring and let us pass them out. He said we had to stand on the edge of the sidewalk and not go near the crowd.

UTAH
John and I met in Utah for a long weekend in March. His family is out there and I still hadn't met any of them and we both wanted a vacation so it seemed like the appropriate destination. We explored at lot and his family was awesome.

I wish I remember what this moutain was called, but we climbed for a little bit. It was beautiful (and John looks handsome too.)

One day we had lunch at --- I forget what this place was called too, but it was an awesome mexican place.

This is John's family that lives in Utah. (left to right) Melanie (john's sister in law) Sergio (johns brother) Billy (john's future brother in law) scarlett (sister). AND BOTH of the ladies are going to have babies! John is very excited to become an uncle. After lunch we went exploring through the canyons. I want to go back one day and go skiing.
John and Sergio waiting outside a shop in the downtown area. They weren't really into the shopping idea.

Scarlett, Billy and I at Utah's library. It was beautiful. John said it was voted one of the best libraries in the united states.

This is Pirate, Scarlett and Billy's pug, he has one eye and is cute!

And this is Achilles, Sergio and Melanie's dog. He has three legs, but you wouldn't know it.

EASTER
For Easter, Sara and Frankie (her dog) and I went to Dumbo in Brooklyn and sat by the water with sandwiches.

SPRING CLEAN
I rearranged my room last weekend and did a big spring clean in preparation for a sidewalk sale that Sara and I had today.

SIDEWALK SALE
We had the sidewalk sale today. I made a bunch of cute flyers and sara and I walked around our neighborhood and posted them up.
"THE BEST SIDEWALK SALE EVER"

It was a great success ($$$!). We sold a bunch of stuff today. We did get robbed a little. Someone stole two pairs of really nice jeans and a nice leather wallet when we were setting up. We put down 4 big sheets outside our apartment next to the cafe. We met a bunch of people in the neighborhood and in the building. The weather was beautiful.

WORK
And here are bunch of fun pictures from work of us... working... and having fun. It's very common in our office for someone to just break out to song and dance. I love where I work. The people are very inspiring and we all mix well.

this is me working on the holiday showroom... playing with props.... I love gold...

Dana, Meghan (the two other graphic designers) and I went to dinner at Frankies 457 the other night. It was beautiful out and we sat outside in the garden.

This week we shot our new fragrance campaign and the fall campaign. All of our bosses were out at the shoots all week. This is John. He is the marketing cordinator. This is our Senior Creative Directors office haha... We emailed her the picture while she was out. Don't worry mom, she thought it was funny.

Last thursday we sponsored a party with Tablet hotels. Before the party a bunch of us went to Cubana Cafe and had lots of mojitos and dinner. It was a nice group, we had a lot of fun. My cheeks hurt so much from laughing so hard.
Mojitos + Dana, Meghan and Sarah (our copy writer)

John making fun of Sarah. He does a really good interpretation of her.

Our office is very open, and you can hear everyone's conversations. Sometimes it's good, but sometimes I want to block everyone out and just work. So I purchased these big headphones, and of course they're gold. Dana has hot pink ones, Meghan has spring pink, and Sarah has white. We look really cool when we're all wearing them hahha.

On Friday, we were all getting antsy around 5:00. Sarah started making the plastic flamingo talk to people and there was a song and dance to Jump in Line (Shake, Shake Senora) - Harry Belafonte from Beetlejuice. Sometimes I wish someone could record us to see how silly we are. We would be a great reality show.

And I'm done <3

Mother's Day Windows!

They are up!! I'm so excited about them. I went down to our 5th ave store today to check them out in real life.
